Lisa Romanek, author of From My Side of the Bed: Pulling Back the Covers on Extraterrestrial Contact, A Spouses Point of View, is the wife of the well-known extraterrestrial abductee/contactee Stan Romanek.
Lisa realized that there are two sides to every story, two sides of every bed. She has learned the importance of taking that which is personal and at times embarrassing, and turning into that which serves the public– those who have walked in the same slippers that she has as spouses of abduction.
Lisa takes you on her heart wrenching and at times hilarious journey as the wife of Stan Romanek. Her courage and integrity mix well with her Nebraska born charm. As does her decades of work with the elderly. As the wife of an abductee and mother of three children she has a simple message to share: Live without fear, and love without limit.

This week on ‘Beyond the Edge Radio’ – Eric & Lon welcome wildlife author Chester Moore Jr. to discuss ‘Changing Destinies’, his site that details his daughter’s story of adoption and his dedication to rescuing children worldwide. Early on we will examine recent flying cryptid sightings in West Virginia and Pennsylvania as well as other paranormal news. Join us this Sunday at 8:00 PM ET – Call toll-free for
giveaways!
Chester Moore Jr. is one of the most widely recognized and respected wildlife journalists, lecturers and field researchers in North America. A lifelong outdoorsman and naturalist, Moore has launched several zoological expeditions, ranging from the wilds of Canada to the Louisiana Bayou to jungles South America, in search of such elusive beasts as the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker and the Hairy-Hominid known colloquially as Bigfoot.
Renowned for his journalistic, conservationist and photographic excellence, Moore has been the recipient of multiple awards, and has also lent his media expertise to numerous television and radio programs, including Two episodes of Ted Nugent’s “Spirit of the Wild” PBS series and Six episodes of Fox Sports
“Outdoor Adventures”. Most recently he has completed the “Southern Fried Bigfoot” documentary, which will be released sometime this year. Since 1992, Moore has written over 300 articles, which have appeared in such magazines as The Anomalist, Texas Parks & Wildlife, Adventure Outdoors, Animals & Men and Louisiana Sportsman, and has published nearly 1,000 newspaper stories, covering a variety of cryptozoological and non-cryptozoological subjects. His columns on hunting, angling, and wildlife appear weekly in the Port Arthur News and Orange Leader newspapers and monthly in Texas Fish & Game magazine. Moore has also taken the time from his hectic schedule to author no less than five books, on topics ranging from the Southern Bigfoot phenomenon to angling techniques for Texas Trout fishermen. His most recent publication: “Boogers, Bears, Birds and Beasts: Cryptozoology
in the American South”, which he co-authored with acclaimed Professor Link Hullar, covers a multitude of topics including the Fouke Monster mystery, which has become popularized as “The Legend of Boggy Creek”, giant alligator garfish, mysterious cats, presumed to be extinct red wolves and many others! A dedicated cryptozoological investigator, Moore is the creator of the site and is the host and founder of the annual Southern Crypto Conference, which presents awards to other industrious investigators and brings together individuals from numerous scientific and cryptozoological disciplines for the purpose of disseminating information and informing the public regarding the latest Southern cryptozoological developments. The proceeds from this event, as well as all profits made from Moore’s books, are funneled back into field research and into the “Cryptokeeper Wildlife Habitat Education Fund”, which has
created five new displays relating the importance of hardwood bottomlands conservation, and will be donated to schools throughout Texas. These displays will be accompanied with a curriculum created by Moore, which teaches children about conservation and endangered species. This is yet another reason why Moore’s work is held in such high esteem. In addition to his cryptozoological exploits, Moore is also an avid adventurer, musician, scuba diver and martial artist. He has caged dived with great white sharks of the coast of the Farallon Islands, and also serves as the host of “Chester Moore Outdoors” a weekly radio program on Newstalk AM 560 KLVI, where some of his esteemed colleagues include; Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura Schlessinger and Coast to Coast a.m. hosts Art Bell and George Noory.

***We apologize for the quality of this show as Skype and technical difficulties caused some issues during the live broadcast***
However this is a fantastic interview with Scotty that you don’t want to miss!
Eric and Lon welcome back our good friend Scotty Roberts to the show to talk about his new book the rise and fall of the Nephalihim, Intrepid Magazine and the upcoming con.
Scott Alan Roberts is the founder and publisher of Intrepid
Magazine, an journal dedicated to politics, science, UFOs and unexplained phenomena. He is an accomplished illustrator and
writer of fiction and non-fiction occupationally hovering in the advertising ghettos of Minneapolis & Saint Paul, Minnesota. He has been interviewed on scores of radio shows, is a former
political talk radio show host and was editor-in-chief of SyFy’s
Ghost Hunters official publication, TAPS ParaMagazine.
Scott attended bible college and theological seminary, pursuing his Masters in Divinity (Mdiv) while working as a youth director.
During his time in academia, he focused on his persona passions for history, theater and art. His religious studies were an obvious springboard for his continuing interest in spirituality, and his research of paranormal phenomena expanded throughout the subsequent years. After his ministerial
education, Scott’s career took a sharp left turn, and he went on to spend the next two-and-a-half decades as a creative ad man. He launched a small comic book publishing effort, Bent Nail Comix, writing and illustrating stories, some of which were eventually pitched for animated television. He co-created the
highly successful Ancient Heroes trading card series, and began development on a line of young readers books. He authored and illustrated his first historical novel, The Rollicking Adventures of Tam O’Hare, an anthropomorphized historical novel set in Tudor England, Ireland, and Scotland, which garnered broad attention with teen and college readers. Scott Alan Roberts is a contemplative, spiritual man of consideration who sees intelligence, wit, justice and touch as quantifiable necessities. He values a good pipe, a stout pint, and considers himself a purist when it comes to single malt highland Scotch – which he deems not a tool of inebriation, but rather an enlightened
repast to be shared with colleagues and like-minded pedagogues of philosophy and hob-knobbing banter. He does not shy away from a good fight – whether academic or existential – and has had a few classical brawls in his day. However, in keeping with what he sees as his paradoxical nature, Scott prefers employing
words over weapons, wit above profanity, spirituality above religion, stalwartness above inconstancy. “As I grow older,” Roberts says, “my jaded cynicism is wholly tempered by my desire to not become an ass.” His scholarship is true, his humor is wry, his mind is fertile, and his love is deep.
Scott lives with his wife and children, just across the Minnesota border in rural Wisconsin, where he remains an avid Vikings fan.

A personal statement from Rosemary:
Like many people, my interest in the paranormal began in childhood, inspired by experiences, extraordinary dreams, an intense interest in astronomy, and a voracious reading of nonfiction and fiction related to the paranormal, occult, science fiction and fantasy. My interests were always wide-ranging, and that continues to characterize my research and work today. All things in the paranormal and metaphysical realms are interconnected. My research includes history, mythology, folklore, religion, occult traditions, psychology, parapsychology, science, medicine, anthropology, and archaeology, as well as anecdotal experience.
My work is oriented around the how and why of our extraordinary experiences. It was clear to me early in life that the paranormal and the unseen realms are real, and that human beings have encounters and experiences that have been documented since ancient times. Our experiences form patterns throughout history that reveal our constant interaction with dimensions of the afterlife, spirit, the Divine, and a wide range of beings.
I examine both the light and dark sides of our experiences, from the mystical and angelic to the invasive and demonic. To know one side, you must also know the other.

This week on BTE Radio we take a break from the paranormal and strange to discuss a very serious issue that just might help save a life! We welcome Trish Yancey to the show.
Due to technical issues, Lon is unable to join the show live this week, however he will be back with Eric for next weeks program.
On this episode of BTE Radio, Eric welcomes good friend and former co-host of Encounter Live Paranormal radio, Trish Yancey. Trish is the wife of Tim Yancey, host of Encounters live, lecturer, violent haunting survivor and most importantly a survivor of a serious heart condition. Back in early March, Tim had what he thought was a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital and after numerous tests, it was determined, he didn’t have a heart attack but was suffering from two very severly blocked arterties. One at 95% and the other at 98%. Tim had surgery to implant two stints to open the arteries. Fortuantely Tim survived this scare and has now decided to help people in a different way, rather than by helping those involved with paranormal activity. Tim has decided to share his experience ofwhat he went through with the symptoms, diagnosis, surgery and treatment. Tim and Trish have gone on several programs talking about their experiences. Due to his work schedule, Tim was not able to join us, however Trish Yancey is the special guest this week and we talked about Tim’s experience, what they both learned and shared with all of us what we can do if and when we experience those symptoms. What the consequences can be and most importantly how to prevent something like this happening to you. Good friend to Tim, Trish and BTE Radio, Jason Gowin joins us for a few moments to discuss his thoughts on Tim’s recent health scare.
This is one important show you don’t want to miss as Trish Yancey joins us to talk about heart health, recognizing the symptoms, what you do if you have them, what to expect as far as treatment and most importantly what we can all do now to try to prevent something like this happening to you or someone you love.
